I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether you need to process the past with EMDR, repair your relationship, or find balance amidst burnout, my services are tailored to fit the unique shape of your story.

Meet Gergana: Care Rooted in Lived Experience & Clinical Expertise
Not everyone recognizes their calling early in life. Mine took shape through lived experience and through moments of change that required starting over. As an immigrant, I learned firsthand what it means to begin again and how resilience is built through love and loss, triumph and disappointment, and the quiet, often unseen work of rebuilding. That journey, along with my training in EMDR and trauma recovery, shapes the way I practice at Willow & Stone Counseling. I offer culturally responsive care that is grounded in clinical science and guided by genuine human connection, meeting each client with respect, curiosity, and compassion.

Your Path to Healing Starts Here

Frequently asked questions
Don't let questions stand in the way of getting the care you deserve.
Do you accept insurance for therapy?
I do not accept insurance directly, but I can still help you use your benefits. I am an out-of-network provider at Willow & Stone Counseling. This means you pay for the session at the time of service. I can then give you a document called a superbill. You can send this superbill to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Being out-of-network allows me to protect your privacy. It also lets me focus on your care without limits from insurance plans.
Do you offer in-person or virtual therapy sessions?
I offer both virtual therapy and in-person sessions to meet your needs. I provide secure virtual therapy for clients living anywhere in the state of Texas. If you prefer face-to-face connection, I have temporary office spaces for in-person therapy in Addison and Highland Park. I am also working on opening a permanent physical location in the DFW area soon. You can choose the format that feels safest and most convenient for you.
How do I know if Willow & Stone Counseling is right for me?
You will know I am the right fit for you if you are tired of "holding it all together" on your own. I specialize in helping professionals, first generation individuals, high achievers, and those with high-functioning anxiety. If you feel successful on the outside but exhausted or disconnected on the inside, I can help. I provide a warm, safe space for people who want to heal from burnout, perfectionism, or past trauma.
How do I start therapy with Willow & Stone Counseling?
The best way to start therapy with me is to schedule a free consultation. I offer a free 15-minute phone call to new clients. This call helps me learn about your needs. It also helps you see if my style feels like a good match. To start, simply fill out the contact form on my website. I will reply quickly to set up your time. There is no pressure to book a full session until you feel ready.
What is the cancellation policy for appointments?
My cancellation policy requires 24 hours' notice if you need to change or cancel your appointment. If you cancel less than 24 hours before your time, you may be charged a late fee. I have this policy to respect my time and the time of other clients who may need support. I understand that emergencies happen, so please reach out to me as soon as you know you cannot make it.
